Learn to Knit Hat
This hat is knit in the order that people learn to
knit: garter stitch, stockinette, 2 x 2 rib, 1 x 1 rib,
decreases and then two kinds of seams - all while
learning to read a pattern.
Skill level: Beginner.
Size: to fit 20” (21”)(23”) head circumference.
Gauge: 14 sts/20 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette
stitch.
Yarn: Bulky weight yarn, 125(150)(180) yards (8
wpi). Model used Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride
Bulky.
