Materials required:

• 100g of yarn (wool, acrylic) Chunky / Super Bulky / (6)
• 7mm single pointed knitting needles
• big eyed (yarn) needle
• scissors
• measuring tape / ruler (optional)

This pattern is designed with large print and visuals to help children (or adults) who are absolute beginners learn to knit. I have also added a channel to YouTube, simply called Lori Boivin Knitsstrong text, in order to further help the new knitter.

Gauge is not a big concern with this pattern. The focus is on learning the basic stitches needed to knit. You will learn to:

• cast on
• cast off (bind off)
• knit stitch
• finish
