The LEANDER CARDI VEST has an elegant and relaxed fit which makes it ideal for keeping you warm all year round. The vest works well as a soft outer layer in summer or as a warm, cozy extra layer in winter. The cable pattern gives the vest a classic look and creates a beautiful three-dimensional quality which keeps you warm and ensures that the shape of the vest is kept well.

The vest is worked seamlessly from the top down. First, the back piece yoke is worked. Then, stitches are picked up along the shoulders for each front piece. Back piece and front piece are joined at the bottom of the armhole and worked back and forth. Then, stitches are picked up for the front edgings and the neckline which are worked back and forth. Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeve edgings which are worked in the round. All edgings are worked in twisted rib, and the stitches are bound off using the Italian bind off method.
