Leadlight Beret
For knitwear designers, inspiration can come from many different places. Many of my patterns arise from browsing through stitch dictionaries, finding something interesting, and envisioning what sort of garments can come from it. This beret holds a special place in my heart because the stitch pattern came from a book gifted to me by my best friend and now husband. The diamond shape was practically begging for decreases around its peak, and from there a beret seemed like the most logical place to go. I hope it ends up holding a special place in your wardrobe!
This pattern has been professionally tech edited by Sylvia Bekker of Wild Iris TE.
