Lazy Daze Sloth
This lazy sloth is knitted in a fleecy boucle yarn to make them extra cuddly, perfect for hugs. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the sloth is knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round). The sloth’s claws are i-cord, which are knitted tubes worked on two DPNs.
NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 4) and a pair of 4mm single pointed needles (US 6)
RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Snuggly Bunny for the body (double knitting/light worsted weight), and Hayfield Bonus DK for the face and claws in brown, black and beige shades; less than 25g in each yarn,
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling and buttons for eyes
SIZES
One size only - 19cm tall.
TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
