Steel crochet hook US size 8/1.25 mm.

Center portion of this oval doily consists of center flower made with 8 chain stitch center with 8 petals consisting of 5 - double crochet popcorn stitches. To each side are 10 - 4 petal flowers for a total of 21 flowers. Rows 3 - 8 gradually make up the next row of 4-dc popcorn stitches which form the 2nd oval. Rows 12-18 consist of chain stitches. Row 19 consists of 11 chain stitches followed by two 5-dc popcorn stitches. Each two 5-dc popcorn stitches on round 20 has 7 chain stitches in between.
