Last Frost was inspired by the silvery grey of Shalimar Breathless Yarn in the Slag colorway, and its effect on the lacy buds and picots of this scarf. It looks to me like that last little bit of frost on early spring mornings, which catches crocuses and daffodils alike in its delicate powder. The scarf is ideal for the transitional seasons when light frost abounds.

The pattern is suitable for intermediate lace knitters, who are comfortable working a variety of stitches. Please see specific required skills below. Instructions are both fully written and charted. construction
The scarf is worked flat from end to end, with picots created by casting on stitches at the end of a row and binding the cast-on stitches off on the following row.
