We all know that in the crochet world boys are left aside a bit. There are so many items to make for girls and pretty few to make for boys. This hat will be perfect for both, but I would say it has that masculine touch which is often missing in crochet items. It will be a great hat not only for little boys but for grown-ups too!

Materials
• approx. 30(50,50,70)g or 82(136,136,190) yards of any DK weight or light worsted weight yarn in main color
• approx. 30(50,50,70)g or 82(136,136,190) yards of any DK weight or light worsted weight yarn in contrasting color
Suggested yarn: Willow & Lark, Ramble (100% wool), shades 125 and 112 or 103 and 101
• crochet hook 3.5mm and 4mm or size needed to obtain gauge
• stitch marker (optional)

Gauge
Cuff – 11sts and 6 rows in hdc to measure 5x5cm or 2x2in using 3.5mm hook, or size required to obtain the gauge
Hat – 10sts and 11rows in tweed stitch (used for Hat part) to measure 5x5cm or 2x2in using 4mm hook, or size required to obtain the gauge
