The shades of green in the main colour and the turquoise shades of the contrast colour reminded me of the Caribbean island of Curacao that I visited earlier this year.

The shawl is a triangular shape, started from the narrow point and it widens towards the lace edging and picot cast off. One of the long sides is decorated by a line of yarn overs.
