Laminar brings together a repeating stranded colorwork motif with a series of vertical, flowing cabled lines. Beginning at the bottom point and gradually growing wider toward the neckline, the cowl is worked flat and features a steady, repeating motif that remains consistent through the body of the piece. Along its edges, the border gently disrupts the flow, allowing the pattern to shift just enough to accommodate the shaping while maintaining overall continuity.

After knitting, the sides are seamed together to form the back of the cowl. Worked in HiKoo® Oh!, a 100% Super Baby Alpaca yarn, the finished fabric is soft with a fluid hand and lightweight warmth, making Laminar a comfortable and versatile layer.
