Ladybugs for Lesa
by Annie Smith
A 2009 TKGA and Yarn Market knitting design contest winner!
Ladybugs for Lesa is 6/8 of an octagon. It is knitted in one piece, from the neck down, with 3-stitch borders, and 6 nearly identical “wing” sections separated by a single “spine stitch”. This pattern is appropriate for a knitter who is comfortable with knitting lace from charts, and is willing to be adventurous.
Crochet hook D or E.
Swatch is done over 23 stitches and 28 rows, then blocked.
