Lady Igraine
Lady Igraine started with a vision when my dear friend, Andrea, of Lakshmi’s Dreams contacted me about having a King Arthur’s KAL in her group and wanted me to design a shawl using one of her new yarn lines. I adore reading about the medieval time period and especially the legend of King Arthur so this was meant to be! I chose the fingering weight Merinoyaksilk for its softness and fabulous drape, and Andrea dyed up the perfect red. I knew the shawl needed simple stockinette for the top portion with a rhythmic lace that could be adorned with placed beads. I hope you enjoy knitting this shawl as much as I loved designing it!
