Lacy Starfish Shawl
by Jill Vosburg
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Description: This delicate shawl is knitted in the round from the center outward, using simple yarn-overs and decreases. As you cast off, the points magically appear! Tiny knitted hem picots prevent casting off too tightly. About 72” from point to point, knitted on US #11 (8 mm) needles – double-pointed, 16” and 24” circulars. Skill level: Intermediate to experienced
Suggested Yarns: Requires about 635 yards of thin mohair or mohair blend. Gauge is not critical; make it open and lacy.
