Lacy Scarf Meteliza
Updated pattern Lacy Scarf Meteliza
“The word Meteliza ‘me-te-li-za’ in English is blizzard,” says Voltchkova. “The scarf is worked in garter-stitch lace. I used the traditional Orenburg Lace knitting techniques and motifs-- yarn-overs and knit two together and mouse-print and cat’s paw motifs. In Orenburg lore, the cats are chasing the mice!
Size of scarf also depends on you: long - X long- XX long! The scarf as shown has 15 repeats. Unique construction; no wrong side.
I hope that you enjoy knitting and wearing this scarf!
