Lace Bookmarks
Sure, you can practice lace patterns by making a swatch, but why not turn that swatching into something useful, like a knitted bookmark?
This project gets you used to “reading” your lace stitches and working from a chart, and it also shows you two traditional types of lace construction. It’s all in the balance and position of increases and de- creases.

About 20 yards (18m) fingering weight yarn per bookmark.
