The finished Eiffel Tower stands just under 30cm tall. The pattern uses 4 drinking straws and 4 lengths of pipe cleaner to add strength and structure to the crochet and help create a free standing tower.

The pattern is written in US terminology and uses chains, half double crochet stitches, single crochet stitches, single crochet decreases, slip stitches and stitches worked into both the front and back loops. There is a photo tutorial to assist with crocheting around the straws.
