This ethnographic mitten is from the Alsunga region of the District of Kurzeme, Latvia and is from the collection at the Liepaja Museum. The cuff begins with knit and purl rows followed by a half braid and several bands of three color stranded colorwork. The upper mitten is knit in two colors throughout.
Changes in needle size and yarn will vary the finished size.
