Koto is the knitted sweatshirt you’ll reach for again and again. This simple raglan sweater features a relaxed, oversized fit that makes it effortlessly wearable and easy to style. Koto is a versatile wardrobe staple with just the right amount of detail to keep things interesting.

Knit seamlessly from the top down, it begins with a classic double folded neckband and includes optional bust darts for a more customized fit. The pattern is written for nine sizes, with a finished bust measurement ranging from 95-175 cm / 37.5-69 inches. For the intended oversized look, a positive ease of 20 cm / 8 inches is recommended.

YARN AND YARDAGE
4, 4, 5 (6, 6, 7) 7, 8, 8 skeins / 760, 985, 1090 (1180, 1300, 1405) 1510, 1615, 1740 m of Novita Woolly Wood yarn (70% tencel, 30% merino, 225 m / 100 g) or similar DK weight yarn. Green sample shown in color 307. The light sample is knit in Novita 7 Veljestä Nummi yarn (200 m / 100 g) in color 945.

NEEDLES
3.5 mm circular needles (preferred length for knitting the neckband)
4.5 mm circular needles (preferred length for knitting the body and sleeves)

Special skills: German short-rows, increases, picking up sts. This project is a satisfying knit for everyone from adventurous beginners to more experienced knitters.
