Knitted Coverlets
This pattern includes the counterpane squares (each knitted as four triangles and then joined), a variation for the square pattern, a border in two patterns and a lace edging.
MATERIALS: four balls of No. 8 knitting cotton (110 yards to the ball) with two No. 14 steel needles to make one block 15 by 15 inches, and seven balls for 2 yards of border and edging measuring 8.5 inches in width.
