Kirriemuir
This scarf (or shawl) is worked from one side to the other, in the round, with a steek section that is cut and unravelled after completion to produce a fringe at each end.
The all-over cable pattern is inspired by Pictish artwork and explores the relationship between key patterns and spirals - slowly morphing from one to the other, and then back again.
Two sizes are given; the finished measurements of this scarf/shawl can be customised - click here for an interactive calculator which estimates yardage.
