Kilim Rug
Easy to follow, both written and graphic crochet pattern of a cozy and unique woolen rug.
Crocheted entirely with single crochet stitch, using intarsia and tapestry crochet colorwork. Pattern includes a graph and a row by row stitch count for your convenience.
Finished size: 120x145cm/47x57”
Pattern is written in US terms, in ENGLISH ONLY.
Kilim, a decorative woolen fabric used to decorate walls, as a rug or cover beds or tables.
This one was inspired by Hutsul highlanders from eastern Carpathian Mountains.
I realised they can be easily translated into crochet!
The chunky woolen yarn gives the fabric a strong and sturdy weight,
ideal for a rug or wall hanging
