Kaylunia is on a special INTRODUCTORY OFFER at 30% DISCOUNT until the end of October. The discount is calculated at check-out and no code is needed. Kaylunia is also part of the e-book Polish Collection Part 1, which features 6 sweater patterns and is currently also discounted.

Kaylunia is a top down seamless yoke sweater with a deep colorwork chart that has been influenced by the diamond shapes in historical Polish bobbin lace.

The neckline is ribbed and is followed by short rows at the back of the neck to create a comfortable fit. This is followed by stranded knitting that is worked in multiple colours, featuring various sizes of diamonds and zigzags. The chart continues past the arm and body divide. The sleeves are knit in stockinette stitch and the cuffs and body are finished off in ribbing.

The original sweater was designed for my daughter’s wedding, and this original sweater design features a very tapered and cropped body that is fitted at the waist. There is also an alternative for a cropped body with a looser fit.

The pattern features a colour chart, as well as a symbol chart should you wish to colour in the chart with your own colours.
