3 stitch repeats = 3¾“ / 9.5 cm and 5½ row repeats (11 rows) = 4” / 10 cm in Seashell Lace Pattern; 11 sts = 2” / 5 cm and 18 rows = 5” / 12.5 cm in Hdc-blo Pattern. Take time to save time, check your gauge.

Construction Notes
• The lower band is worked side-to-side, then the first row of the body is worked along one selvedge edge of the lower band.
• The body is worked as one piece from the lower band to the underarms, where the back and front are divided and worked separately to the shoulders.
• The shoulders are seamed, then stitches for the buttonband and armbands are worked around the selvedge and armhole edges of the body.
