Kawa (River) hat
This Amimoji design will produce a reversible knitted hat using a Japanese Kanji character, Kawa (川), meaning River.
River is a provider of fresh water for farming and drinking. Its constant waterflow provides means for transportation and energy, and brings in nutrients and washes away waste. It is home to fish and water plants, feeding ground for birds and insects, and recreational and meditational space for humans. People in Japan admire and worship the power of river. When designing this pattern, I envisioned water flowing down the streams in the mountains, and eventually multiplying in mass and force as it reaches the ocean.
