Kandinsky Kimono
One size - finished size 52” Kimono.
Intarsia with black background and 21 other colors.
1 button.
Description from pattern:
This loose kimono-shaped jacket draws upon the bright colors and intersecting geometric shapes of paintings by Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944). Says designer Leigh Radford, “I think Kandinsky recognized a sacred element in geometry - a protective power in the intersecting circles and shapes. I feel good when I put on this jacket.” Worked in intarsia with 22 colors of cotton yarn, this is not a weekend project. But the style and comfort will last a lifetime.
