Note
The wrap is knit flat starting from the future loose end. Increases shape the diagonal slope of the corner. The body of the wrap is worked in the ribbed pattern incorporating slipped stitches with an applied I-cord edging.
Once the body reaches the required length, ribs transition into the stockinette stitch. Waste yarn is woven through the work every eight rows to mark the future smocking lines. The stockinette section is folded in half and live stitches are grafted to the wrong side of the piece to form a loop. The wrap is blocked.
Tapestry needle threaded with working yarn is used to join together columns of stitches for the decorative smocked effect. This step is repeated to form sculptural rhombuses throughout the stockinette fabric.

Notes
往復編みで編むスカーフ. 下端から増目しながら編んでいき, 両端はすべり目でI-cordエッジを作る. ループ部分はスモッキング位置の目安として別糸を入れ込みながらメリヤス編みで編み, その後半分に折りループを作り本体スカーフとはぎ合わせる.
最後にループ部分にとじ針を使用しスモッキングする.
