Jutta-socks are knitted top down, starting with the ruffle. The first ruffle is knitted with a contrast colour and the loops of this part are left waiting on the needles. After that, you knit the second ruffle and combine these two ruffles to the same needle by knitting.

After the ruffle, you start to knit the pattern. The pattern is knitted all the way down to the french style heel, after which you knit the feet to the desired length.
