Juniper Berries Cowl
by Cindy Dell
I attended the Rose City Yarn Crawl in Portland Oregon, in March of 2024, and joined the mystery KAL for Chloris, a beautiful beaded shawl designed by Makenzie Alvarez. The clues came once a week and were made up of stunning textured and cabled sections, most of which contained beads. I was hooked! I knew a beaded cowl had to be special, with next-to-skin softness yarn, so cashmere was a must. The pattern inspirations come from the Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible by Hitomi Shida.
