Julija's Wrist Warmers
Women’s knitted traditional Lithuanian wrist warmers. These knitted, beautiful beaded wrist warmers were worn in Lithuania in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and now you recreate them for yourself!
Finished Size:
7½ inches (19.0 cm) circumference; 5½ inches (14.0 cm) long
Yarn:
Dream in Color Smooshy, 100% merino wool yarn, fingering weight, 450 yards (411.5 m)/113 gram (4 oz) skein:
1 skein of Black Pearl
Needles:
HiyaHiya Needles, double pointed, size 000 (1.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions:
Fire Mountain Gems seed beads, size 10/0 or 11/0, about 1,850
Beading needle; Sewing thread, for stringing beads; Textile glue; Tapestry needle
