Fun fact: The tradition of decorating Christmas trees with sweets and fruit goes back hundreds of years—apples, nuts, and candy were the original ornaments before glass baubles took over.
Just like those early decorations, joy doesn’t have to be complicated. When you knit the Jolly Holiday mittens, each bead can be a tiny “ornament” of gratitude—a reminder to savor simple pleasures: a warm drink, a laugh with a friend, or the quiet rhythm of knitting on a winter evening.

Mittens are worked from cuff to fingertips, with an afterthought thumb.
