This is a quick little weekend knit! It’s really 3 patterns in 1. The skinny version is more like a headband. The wide version is the perfect summer head wrap. The extra wide version makes a lovely ear muff for the fall!

This head wrap can be worn 4 ways: right side facing with knot in front, right side facing with knot in back, wrong side facing with knot in front, or wrong side facing with knot in back.

Sizes: Skinny (Wide, Extra Wide) measuring 4” (6”, 8”)/10 (15, 20.5) cm wide, to fit an average 19” – 22”/48 – 56 cm head. Shown in Wide size. If your head does not fall within the circumference range, don’t despair! I will instruct you how to alter this pattern to fit your head size.

Notions: 2 stitch holders, a ruler, 1 locking stitch marker or safety pin, and a tapestry needle.

Techniques: Judy’s Magic Cast On, basic increases and decreases, Left Knit 2 Together (or slip, slip knit/Ssk if you are unfamiliar with LK2Tog), and Kitchener stitch.
