This Mandala is named after my friend Joana who inspired me to design it. It is made in overlay crochet technique with lots of front post stitches. The mandala is nicely structured and can be made in more than 3 colors. It can be used as a table decoration, appliqué for a pillow cover, stool cover, potholder and even a round pillow.

Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches are used in this pattern).

Materials:

• Yarn in three colors. I used yarn “Stone Washed” by Scheepjes: shades 801, 804 and 813. But you can absolutely use more colors if you wish!
• Crochet hook 3.25 mm (D) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge.
• Scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends in.
