Pattern notes
These mitts or gauntlets are knitted from cuff to top, with a thumb gusset. Charts are read from right to left throughout. If making gauntlets, begin by weighing your skein, and winding it off into 2 equal halves (you’ll then be able to use up to half your available yarn for each gauntlet, ensuring a matching pair).
This pattern is part of a small collection featuring motifs adapted from Norah Gaughan’s brilliant Twisted Stitch Sourcebook
