Jeanette Square
A free version is also available.
Please note that the paid PDF is a print-friendly written-only version of the pattern and does not contain the photo tutorial. You can find the free photo tutorial on my website.
The Jeanette square is named after my dear friend Aunty Jeanette and was designed for the April 2017 yarn retreat with Devon Sun Yarns.
It is a lacy square that looks equally pretty in a single colour or multiple colours. For this version, I have used Scheepjes Stonewashed left over from my medium Ubuntu CAL 2018.
The pattern contains a materials list for making a small 7.3” square (using Scheepjes Stonewashed and a 3.5mm hook) and a large 12” square (using Scheepjes Stonewashed XL and a 5.5mm hook).
To make this square, you will need to know how to make the following stitches (US):
Ch - Chain
Dc – Double crochet
FP - Front post
Hdc – Half-double crochet
Sc – Single crochet
Sl st – Slip stitch
Tr – Treble crochet
The pattern is available for free on my website (US Terminology), presented as a photo tutorial.
You can also buy the print-friendly US PDF in my Ravelry Store for a nominal fee.
I look forward to seeing how you use this square to create your own unique creations.
