Jazzy Utah Headband
This pattern is a collaboration of three friends who decided to donate $1.00 from each pattern sold to their favorite charity, Knit Michigan. A non-profit organization that raises funds to help cancer patients and their families. (Visit knitmichigan.org for more information.)
Skill Level: Easy; increases and decreases.
Gauge: not critical
Yarn: Worsted weight (11 wpi), approximately 90 yards. Sample used Stonehedge Fiber Mill’s Shepherds Wool; or knit a Bulky weight version, approximately 70 yards. Directions for a knitted flower embellishment included. Flower uses scrap yarn (sport/dk/worsted weight), approximately 20 yards, or use your imagination!
Needles and notions: US Size #5 for worsted weight headband; US
Size #10.5 for bulky weight version.
Double point needles for the flower in a size appropriate for the
yarn. Optional: button for flower center.
