This is a lovely wide scarf, using three hanks of indigo-dyed cotton yarn in a gradient of colours. It works up in an oblong shape, with a fringe to finish.
For the design I’ve used three hanks of Scheepjes Skies light, in shades 109 Cirrocumulus, 110 Cirrus and 111 Cumulus. There is the possibility to substitute the three hanks for a set of the Skies light minis. I’ve added info to the pattern with small changes to account for the difference in yardage. Do note that the pattern hasn’t been written with minis in mind, and nor has it been tested using minis, so my instructions there are based on calculations.
The gauge is calculated by working up a section in shell (granny) stitch, but without the ch1 between shells. I used a 3.5mm hook.
ERRATA: note that Row 11 is a shell row.
