Jammy Dodger Biscuit
Our absolute favourite biscuit!!! nom nom nom!!
We adore a Jammy Dodger or two, along with a nice big mug of tea. Simply delicious!
With this classic treat in mind, we thought we’d have a play with a rather fun Jammy Dodger inspired crochet project.
Cute and a little kinder on the waist line than the real deal!
A fun project perfect for those who like to indulge in these jammy treats!
Materials
- Crochet Hook
- Aran weight yarn (in 2 colours)
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Darning needle
Any type of yarn can be used for this project along with the yarn manufacturers recommendation of hook size.
We chose to make our Jammy Dodger a little larger in size than the real biscuit (measuring approximately 8cm in diameter) and therefore used an aran weight yarn and a 4mm crochet hook to obtain this size.
This project works best if you use two different shades of yarn:
Golden cream for the biscuit section
Deep dark red for the strawberry jam filling
