This pattern is knit flat, in one piece.
Choose either the super simple and speedy stocking stitch version, or the cabled version. Simply seam up both sides, and add pompoms if you wish, and its a great gift for any baby.

Newborn ~ 35cm/14 inches circumference
Baby ~ 40cm/16 inches circumference
Toddler ~ 45cm/18 inches circumference
Child ~ 51cm/20 inches circumference
