Jagged Edge is a long and narrow crescent shaped one-skein shawlette, knit from side-to-side, with a garter stitch base and a body knit on the bias. Simple, but not boring, the shawl is interesting and soothing to knit and features an edging that reminds me of castle walls.

It’s the perfect project when you’re pushed to the edge – and when you’re done you can take comfort and wrap yourself in the walls of your very own merino cashmere castle.

Instructions are also provided for a more traditional triangular shawl as well as a fun random “Crapshoot Edition” version of the pattern for those who really like to live on the edge, even with their knitwear.
