A two-color, short-row crescent shawl knit sideways with i-cord on one edge. This design was inspired by the impressive display of purple Jacaranda trees in Los Angeles in springtime, but can be knit in any color combination you wish!
I used a sport-weight yarn for the sample, but a lovely fingering-weight or mohair/fingering combination would be wonderful also as my testers discovered. The size is adjustable, and gauge will affect the size. As it is worked sideways to the widest center point, you can make it larger or smaller if desired, depending on yarn available.
Have fun with it! Flowers are always meant to bring joy.
