Ivory Leaves
Cropped jacket with the air of a knitted lace shawl features leaf motifs worked from a chart. Heavier yarn accentuates the rich texture of the knitted lace motifs. Lower body is worked in one piece to the armholes; then back and fronts are divided and worked separately to the shoulders. Sleeves are worked in the round from cuffs upward, then attached to the body by binding off live sleeve sts together with sts picked up around the armhole opening using three-needle bind-off method.
Sizing Notes: The jacket has an oversize fit (6” / 15 cm or more of ease). The size of the jacket is determined by the needle size - the larger sizes are made using larger needles. For this reason, doing a gauge swatch is very important!
