Ishq
This design is a collaboration with Sweet Paprika Designs.
Ishq (pronounced - ishk, meaning - love) is a crescent shaped wrap worked in one piece. Beginning from the top down, the lace panels grow out evenly into the depth of the shawl. A mix of lace and twisted stitches makes it a fun and interesting piece to work on.
Finished Measurements: Top edge length: 72” (182cm), depth: 20” (50cm).
Yarn: 2 skeins of Sweet Paprika Messa di Voce
(100% Superwash Merino Wool, 420m / 460y, 100g)
Colourway: Canneberge
Needles: US size 6 (4mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Use stitch markers, if needed.
Gauge: 22 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10cm) in 1x2 rib, after blocking.
23 sts and 32 rows = 4.5” (11.5cm) in lace panel, after blocking.
