Insh
Insh is a top-down, saddle-shoulder sweater with options for a round neck or henley neckline and that can be worked up in stockinette or in super squishy Half Fisherman’s Rib.
Insh is my first ever pattern to have two fully separate fit options. The “Femme” version is graded to a women’s sizing standard and the “Masc” version to a men’s sizing standard.
This means that upon purchasing the pattern you’ll get four separate documents (Masc- Stockinette, Masc - HFR, Femme - Stockinette, Femme - HFR).
Gauge:
Stockinette versions: 20 stitches and 28 rows per 10cm/4 inches
Half Fisherman’s Rib versions: 18 stitches and 32 rows per 10cm/4 inches

Picking up stitches
The HFR pattern is written using the “Knit 1 below” technique. HFR can also be worked an alternative way. This blog post is a fantastic resource for the two ways of knitting this stitch and an overview of the decrease method.
