In the Meantime
One should always have a spare knitting project along on vacation, in case the current project hits a roadblock. When we hit a supply snag with Great Lakes Road Trip, I fortunately had at the ready a second mystery project.
It’s a little knitting murder-mystery cowl. It has been solved, but you can still make the cowl, of course!
It can be made of your choice of size--either 26” or 52”. Join me as we do a little walk in a spooky yarn shop.
What yarn is needed? You’ll need three colors of yarn: dark, light, and pop. Your dark and light may be either the same color two different colors. The pop should be something that contrasts especially with the dark. This is a great opportunity to play with color! About 100 yards of each will do for the smaller cowl, and 200 of each for the longer cowl.
Of course, for this project, you might want black, gray, and … bled.
