The wide crescent of In Shadow of the Leaves is formed from a sequence of laces. The shawl is highly adaptable in side: the main lace-charts may be be repeated as you wish, or the final lace omitted.

Suitable for any yarn, from cobweb to fingering weight, that knits with good stitch-definition, and about 350m/385yds upwards.

Please note that the pattern is given as charts only, with little written explanation. It should present no difficulties to knitters with experience of working lace and the ability to read their stitches, but is not really suitable for beginners.
