Icicle Ribbed Hat
Quick to crochet; this cozy ribbed hat will help keep you warm on cold days outside. A corded edging completes the look beautifully with a professional finish. Whip them up as gifts for loved ones, for your favorite charities, and for yourself!
Rounds 1-3 in the pattern should yield a gauge of approximately 2.75 inches (or 7 cm). You will need about 225 yards of WW or Aran weight yarn for this pattern. Made with dc and post dc stitches, this hat works up very quickly.
I came up with this design while making hats for our church’s donation ministry/program (many knitters and crocheters make hats/scarves/mittens/slippers, etc, which are donated to children and adults in the area through various ministries in town). It came together very quickly, and now I want to share it with you.
