KNIT-A-LONG 
I am excited to announce the I Am Dragon Remix Knit-A-Long! Join me on this new dragon-themed adventure where we’ll be busy knitting dragon scales while watching House of the Dragon Season 2.

The Knit-Along (KAL) is scheduled to start on June 16th, 2024, the date of the House of the Dragon Season 2 premiere. On this date, the complete pattern will be released. I will host Zoom Cast-On Party to kick off the event on that day. The exact time and the Zoom link are posted below. I invite you to join this virtual gathering, allowing us to collectively cast on the design!

HOW IT WORKS 
By purchasing the I Am Dragon Remix pattern on Ravelry, you are automatically enrolling in the Knit-A-Long. Today, you can download the I Am Dragon Remix KAL Info file only. The full pattern is set to be published on June 16th, 2024. On this day, the pattern will be seamlessly added to your library. The pattern spans over 8 pages, offering a comprehensive guide with written instructions, chart, photo tutorials, and convenient links to online video tutorials.

ABOUT THE DESIGN
I Am Dragon Remix serves as the sequel to my original design, I Am Dragon, which was published in 2018. While I hold a special fondness for the original pattern and the yarn used, I saw an opportunity for enhancement. What distinguishes these two designs? The sequel features more beads, a revised pattern description and chart, different needle sizes and finished measurements, among other updates.

This unique knitwear piece has the power to transform you into a mythological being. The intricately textured 3D dragon scales, adorned with three beads each, may appear complex, but rest assured - crafting them is surprisingly straightforward (no short rows!). This garment fastens around your neck with a set of magnetic snaps, ensuring all scales face forward. For added flair at the back, I included a tassel with two sections embellished with beads.
