This pattern was first published in Issue 6 of Laine Magazine.

Hryggir, meaning mountain edges in Icelandic, is worked seamlessly from the top down, starting with a ribbed neckline. The lacy yoke is worked first and aggressively blocked, then the back is knitted higher back and forth to create a pleasant neckline. The sleeves and body are separated and worked top down. The body and the sleeves are shaped by changing the needle size and yarn weight. The back hem is worked longer with short rows. The sleeves are ¾ length and the cuffs are shaped with short rows.
