Hope is a blanket full of love and full of meaning.

It is a homage to my father, his siblings, and parents and to all the people that bravely fight against cancer. Some lost the battle, but never lost HOPE.

Hope is created using mosaic overlay crochet technique.

It is written in English (US Terms) and has pictures to guide you through every row and round. It has charts for all blanket parts as well as a chart for the border. However, there is a print friendly version without pictures if you don’t need to follow them.

Materials

In my sample I used Hobbii Winter Glow and Hobbii Mega Ball DK and a 4.5mm hooks for the blanket body and a 4 mm hook for the border.

Finished Size

My blanket ended up with a final size of 103 cm x 135 cm (40.5” x 53”), approximately. You can customize the size of your blanket by adding or decreasing repeats of the pattern, but keep in mind that this will affect the amount of yarn required.
