Honky Tonk
Honky Tonk is an asymmetrical triangular shawl worked in mosaic stitch with garter stripes.
It begins with just a few stitches and increases with easy “knit front and back” stitches on one side edge to create a beautiful and useful silhouette.
Most of the shawl is simple garter stitch stripes with a unique zig zag pattern worked with classic mosaic (slip stitch) knitting using just one color per row. It’s color knitting the easy way!
It is best knitted in two strongly contrasting colors, 560 yards of each.
Thicker yarns (such as DK) may be used, but the finished wrap will be larger than the one in the photo. (There’s no such thing as a too-large shawl, right?)
Special kits in your choice of colorways are available here while supplies last.
